I need a drummer and a female vocalist!

I’m a self made musician who loves progressive music like Dream Theater, Symphony X and Pain of Salvation. I can play guitar, keyboards and do a bit of singing and harmonization. I also play drums, but am not in possession of a drum set myself, so I’m looking for a drummer to collaborate with and maybe make some kick ass music. We are looking for a drummer for our NEW record!

of this song. We have been looking for a drummer for a while and we are
interested in doing something like the sound of this song but not exactly like
it. It really depends on the drummer and what style they have and what they
would want to write into any project. We want to make the drum parts more
elaborate because the drums on the recording now have been played by me and I’m
not a very good drummer. It’s really up to a compromise between our bass player,

we like playing 80s 90 and current stuff

metal (dream theaters easier material)  also

queensryche I like concept albums ….I would

love to do a concept album

….Yes I said albums im in my 40’s now as

we all are in this band   We have more pa and lighting

than most music stores have in stock

(true statement) we like to pack a lot of gear

into a show sometimes it take some work

to make this happen everyone pitches in

and helps with this process……….

we are not looking to get

discovered 20 years ago maybe but we’ve

come to terms with that dream along time ago.

We play for money but its not our motivation

some of the concert promoters here in Des Moines

are good friends of ours and we have opportunity’s

to play the larger venues (its not what you know

its who you know)…. lol lol if you looking to pay

rent through this project then I don’t think we are

what your looking for in a band. Once maybe twice

a month is all we want to play, bars and pizza joints

don’t turn me on. the larger the crowd the better  !!!

we like to practice a couple of time a week at the least

any original idea’s are more than welcome. Singing

we be a big factor in the decision for our new members

but it isn’t everything  Attitude respect and the willingness

to be a team player is the biggest asset you could bring

to the table …oh ya……. talent  of coarse…lol

I am looking for dynamic, inventive  drumming for a project inspired by ;  CAN,  GYBE!,  Miles Davis,  Blonde Redhead and  Sonic Youth  etc. There are three songs in total needing a striking drum track .
